M&S represented three medical organizations from the state of New Jersey in a suit against ProAssurance Corporation alleging that the company overcharged for medical malpractice coverage for the Extended Reporting Period. The Extended Reporting Period, or so called “tail coverage,” is designed to cover a doctor’s liability for malpractice suits brought after the doctor’s insurance expires, regarding actions that occurred while the doctor’s insurance policy was in effect.

The parties came to a settlement agreement on mutually acceptable terms.
