M&S and co-counsel represented consumers who purchased or leased a new 1999 Mitsubishi Galant in a suit against the car manufacturer. The suit alleged that the brake system in the Galant was defective. This defect caused extremely premature wear on the rotors and brake pads well in excess of what would be expected after normal use.
Although Mitsubishi denied the allegations we were able to reach a settlement that rectified the problem for our clients. Class members received either, an inspection and repair of the brake problem; a full reimbursement of all out-of-pocket expenses on brake and/or rotor repairs; or a service voucher to fix this problem in the future.
