Josh brings formidable skills and experience to the firm after nearly three decades as a plaintiffs’ lawyer, during which he has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars-and crafted landmark decrees-for workers, whistleblowers,

For almost 20 years, Josh was a partner in the Chicago law firm Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd., with a practice focused on representing plaintiffs at trial and on appeal-principally in civil rights, qui tam, investor and consumer protection, and corporate director-and-officer liability cases. Most recently, Josh was Legal Director for the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, a legal services organization representing immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. From the start of his legal career, Josh has been committed to advancing the public interest and holding powerful institutions accountable.
Josh is a member of the American Law Institute (ALI), a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and Yale University, and a former clerk for United States District Court Judge Hubert L. Will. View Josh’s C.V. here.
